Domain Appraisal Guide

At Brandzilla, we meticulously appraise each domain based on five key criteria to ensure a comprehensive evaluation. Domains are rated with stars for each criterion, and we then apply a subjective evaluation to arrive at the final appraisal.

1. Length

Domains are assessed based on their length, which affects their ease of use and impact.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2-6 characters
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 7-10 characters
⭐⭐⭐ 11-15 characters
⭐⭐ 16-20 characters
⭐ 21+ characters

    2. Extension

The domain extension influences its value and relevance.

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ .com.au
    ⭐⭐⭐⭐ .net.au & .au

       3. SEO Rating

SEO potential is evaluated based on keyword relevance and competition.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly relevant, frequently searched keywords, low competition, and clear industry targeting
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strong SEO potential with moderately competitive but relevant keywords
⭐⭐⭐ Relevant keywords but may face ranking challenges due to ambiguity or competition
⭐⭐ Generic keywords or lack of clear targeting, harder to rank
⭐ No valuable keywords, difficult to rank

        4. Brandability Rating

Brandability measures how well a domain can be turned into a recognisable brand.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Short, catchy, easy to remember, and aligned with a specific niche or idea
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good branding potential but slightly generic or less impactful
⭐⭐⭐Brandable but not instantly memorable or distinctive
⭐⭐ Harder to brand due to complexity or awkwardness
⭐ Not brandable or memorable, hard to associate with a business purpose

          5. Memorability Rating

Memorability reflects how easily a domain can be recalled.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Instantly memorable, short, simple, easy to recall and spell
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Somewhat memorable, but not instantly impactful
⭐⭐⭐Generic but still easy to recall after multiple encounters
